Webinar Description

Students with reading disabilities (RD) such as dyslexia frequently have co-occurring conditions including ADHD and/or executive function challenges. However, it can be difficult to understand what factors put additional burdens on readers with RD and which co-occur with less direct impact on reading skills. During this presentation, we will disambiguate the contribution of EF and ADHD on reading among students with RD. We will review findings based on reading assessment scores and neuroimaging data, and discuss implications for assessment, diagnosis, instruction, and intervention.
